During this introduction to embroidery, we’ll be stitching a beautiful crescent moon design using just one colour of variegated thread, which subtly shifts shade as you work. This creates a lovely multicoloured effect without the need to change threads - perfect for beginners who want to learn hand embroidery with stunning results but minimal fuss!
You’ll learn five classic stitches: back stitch, stem stitch, lazy daisy, satin stitch and French knots
The design sits in a super sweet 3-inch hoop and can be stitched in under 2.5 hours - ideal for a gentle, satisfying creative session. You may not finish during the session, but you'll only have an evening of stitching left, so no big intimidating project waiting for you at home!
🧵 All materials are included and yours to take home: hoop, needle, threader, fabric stamped with the design outline, full instructions and thread.
